INTRO TO DRILLS AND IMPACT DRIVERS

Event description

This class gives people the opportunity to get to know two valuable and versatile power tools: the drill and impact driver.
Nyree, your trainer with over 30 years in the construction industry will give you valuable information on the vast range of drills available, their features, how to use them and help you choose the drill best for you and the work you want to do.
You will be introduced to a variety of drill bits and their purpose as well as an introduction into what screws to use for different jobs.
You will get a hands on experience in drilling and screwing into pine, plywood and hardwood.

Let your skilled and motivated trainer, Nyree, show you how you can safely gain valuable knowledge and confident technique so you can start planning and doing your own construction projects. You will also increase your vocabulary to communicate clearly what you want to trades people and builders.
Course Includes:
- Demonstration and instruction on a variety of drills and impact drivers, including posture and set-up + hands on experience
   - Safety features and recommended PPE
   - Instruction on what drill bits and screws to use
